With effect from the 1st April 2003, H M Customs and Excise will be introducing changes to the law relating to the bulk supply and delivery of Gas Oil (red diesel / tractor diesel) and Kerosene (burning oil) both referred to as rebated fuels.

As a direct result of these law changes, it has become necessary for Shelford Energy, along with all other Distributors of these products, to apply to H M Customs and Excise for consideration and acceptance as a Registered Distributor of Controlled Oils.

After 1st April 2003, any Registered Distributor of Controlled Oils will only be able to supply rebated fuels to customers who have provided certain information relating to their use, and the location to which the deliveries are to be made.

At Shelford Energy, we wish to ease the burden placed upon you in having to supply information to comply with the law and have provided a form which you can download and complete for each of your delivery locations.

The form must be signed and sent to us before we can process any orders for either Gas Oil (red diesel / tractor diesel) or Kerosene (burning oil).
