What
is Fuelwise ?
If you have ever had the unfortunate experience of running
out of oil you will know how inconvenient and frustrating it can
be. Fuelwise can help avoid this happening by making sure there
is always plenty of oil in your tank.
How
does it work ?
We will take on the responsibility of monitoring your
boilers oil consumption and making deliveries of oil to you before
the tank runs out. We will contact you before making a delivery
to confirm that the tank requires topping up.
How
do I apply ?
Complete the pack
request and we will send you a Fuelwise application pack.
How
do I pay ?
Invoices are sent to scheme participants immediately
following a delivery of oil. The invoice details that purchase
and the new balance of your account. You then pay the invoice
either in full within 28 days or 14 days to receive the 14 day
discount.
Can
I pay by Direct Debit ?
If you prefer to spread the payments for your oil over
a twelve month period you can make regular monthly payments by
Direct Debit. The amount you pay each month will be based upon
your estimated annual consumption in litres multiplied by the
anticipated unit price per litre, plus the current rate of VAT.
The total estimated annual cost is then divided by twelve to arrive
at the
monthly Direct Debit payment.
All payments made by direct debit are covered by the Direct Debit
Guarantee.
Will
I pay more ?
No - the price is based on tank capacity, regardless
of the quantity we deliver. If you pay by Direct Debit, it will
automatically include the 14 day discount.
What
if I want to cancel ?
No problem at all. Just let us know in writing when you
would like your participation in the scheme to stop. Whether you
have been paying on receipt of invoice or monthly by Direct Debit,
no further deliveries will be made once we receive your letter.
Participation will stop when you have paid for all the oil delivered
under the scheme. We may refuse to continue the supply of oil
to you if you fail to pay within 28 days of receiving an invoice
or if you miss a Direct Debit payment.
Is
there anything else I should know ?
Only that our standard terms for the supply of oil apply.
These appear on the reverse of every meter ticket you receive
when your oil is delivered.
